Heaving a big, sad, sigh. Yesterday, I went to the local homeless shelter. While I was there I saw the cutest little twin boys, being very naughty. They were about 4. Their older brother was trying to be helpful to his mom. He was 6, I'd guess. The mom was trying to restore order and she looked embarrassed. I gave her shoulder a squeeze and I said, "Don't worry Dear, we were all little kids once." She looked so grateful I thought she'd cry. They are the faces of the homeless and unemployed. Clean adorable, rambunctious, little faces trying to have a childhood.

It could be any one of us under the right circumstances.

Ah...Ye Olde Robin Hood Ale...:) Back in the day..circa 1974 or so...in the Dayton area we had a beer drive through which would refill the stout waxed cardboard cases...trading the empties for new. That meant once an elderly looking but underage guy like myself got the initial case...we were in!!! Can't rmember the name of the place, but it might have been on E Third. Also used to play pool for Little Kings out in Yellow Springs at a place called The Desolation Row...how appropriate for a college town dark hangout...:) Thanks for the memories!!

Don't agree!
Criminal activity?
This Walker character has been forced to form a criminal defense fund connected to a secret probe of his associates. The investigation has centered on people who worked for Walker during his time as Milwaukee County executive. Five people have been charged on allegations ranging from embezzlement to campaigning on county time. The governor hasn't yet been charged with any wrongdoing and has repeatedly said he's not the focus of the probe. However, he set up a legal defense fund using $60,000 in campaign contributions. Hmmm....
