The Cleveland Browns won their first game of the season today, crushing the Buffalo Bills 6-3. The game was a clash of offensive titans, with the Browns nearly reaching the magical 200 total yard mark and Derek Anderson, the Browns’ quarterback de jour, displaying pinpoint accuracy in completing 2 of 17 passes. Unfortunately, the Browns-Bills tilt was not broadcast in Columbus, where the local AFC affiliate decided to show the meaningless Bengals-Titans game instead. Nevertheless, congratulations to the Browns on getting their first win, and avoiding any prospect of going winless for the year. And Buffalo can at least take solace in the fact that they lost to an offensive juggernaut on the rise.
