My favorite American bands in college were the Doors, Eagles, Journey and Aerosmith so I could make a case for any of these. I think what makes a band great or the best is the whole package not just their music so I would have to say the Doors win because of their music and Jim Morrison !

If you were to include the English bands my favorites were the Stones, Beatles, Queen and Led Zeppelin. Once again if you look at the whole package then I would say Queen because the best singer all time in a R & R band in my opinion was Freddie Mercury. He could flat out sing !

I can’t wait to see your list and please include why R & R (Richard and Russell) so vehemently disagreed with them.
